Block of the month 2024 Sampler Block
You want to learn quilting and sewing?
You don’t know where to start?
This workshop will show how to make your first block.
You will learn how to cut the fabric, to sew them and put them together to make a nice lap quilt.
Two Blocks will be shown once a month for a total of 6 months and the 7th month will be the ultimate finish, how to put them together. The difficulties will increase a little bit each month
This class is for beginners or advanced beginners
You will receive at the beginning of each class the instructions to make your 2 blocks
You will need:
10-15 fat quarters assorted and matching together
½ meter for the corner stone
3 meters of background
1 meter of fabric for the sashing
1 ½ for the outer border
¾ of meter for the binding
Rulers
Rotary cutter
Sewing machine
Assorted thread
Scissors or thread cutter
Seam ripper
This class will be held the first Friday of each month from 10:00 to 13:30
